Two timberframe blogs just starting up...
Today I'm adding links to two new timber frame blogs. Although they're just getting started with their blogs, both of these guys have taken timber frame workshops, and have some combination of tools, timbers, and land. I'd say they're serious about timberframing. Good luck guys!

I would love a link to my timber frame blog.....are you able to do that? Sandy @ Vermont Timber Works, Inc.

I'll link right back at you!
Sandy,
Right now, I'm trying to keep all of my links non-commercial to entice timber frame companies to advertise in the google ad space. I'm making a pitance on the advertising, but it helps offset my internet bill and gives me a little incentive to come back to the computer and type after working on the house all day. (I'd like to think one of those companies has sold a frame from those ads by now too.)
I like to plug all of the companies that I've done favoable business with (and trying to bite my tongue on the ones that I've done unfavorable business with!) If your company wants to buy ad space on my blog, I'll gladly sell them a big spot, or maybe just barter for something of zero marginal cost to them... like a set of working timberframe plans?!
Looks like you have a nice blog which is not overtly commercial and have interest in timberframes that goes beyond your fine company Believe it or not, I ordered lit. from your company before building my own house and it looked like a great company with nice frames. (I don't think they were into using owner-supplied-timber at the time though). If they don't want to advertise here, at least folks who read these comments will find your blog. And maybe I've done you and your company a microscopic favor by typing all of this! Thanks!
Hi there! We are so new at this blogging thing and how it all works, thanks for your info, learning something new every day. I bet what you wrote will get some extra hits, thank you. Vermont Timber Works has worked on a few projects recently with owner supplied timber and reclaimed timber, we must have had more and more clients request that. Loving your blog, consider yourself bookmarked! Have a wonderful holiday season :) Sandy
Thanks for the link! I'm just catching up on your blog. I've got to post some new stuff on mine soon. It's been slow with winter weather and limited finances, but more will be happening this year!
